Brooke Lee Modelling & Deportment School are currently taking enrolments for our 2023 Airlie Regional Classes.

Throughout classes students cover a wide range of information including: Building self-esteem, confidence and motivation, Modelling & Catwalk Training, Correct Posture & Stands, Deportment & Grooming, Photography, Posing & Facial Expressions, Hair Care & Styling, Makeup Techniques & Skin Care, Exercise & Nutrition, Presentation, Etiquette and more.

Our School Terms are as per QLD School Term Dates. We DO NOT run Classes on Public Holidays. We DO run Classes on Pupil Free Days. New students are initially enrolled in our Beginner’s Level, and at the start of each school term, your class progresses to the next level. The only exception to this is Term 4, which is dedicated exclusively to our Graduation Preparation. The order of classes are Beginners, Intermediate, Intermediate Plus, Advance, Model Update 1 and Model Update 2.

At the end of Term 2 we have a Viewing Lesson in the Studio for all classes and at the end of every year the students will be a part of our end of year Brooke Lee Modelling Graduation Concert. Our 2023 Graduation Concert will be held at the CQ Conservatorium of Music Auditorium (Ooralea, Mackay) on Friday 24th November (Rehearsals) and Saturday 25th November (Show). Further information about these will be sent out at a later date.

• Our Classes in Cannonvale will be held at the Whitsunday Dance Connection Studio: 13 Commerce Close, Cannonvale

Our Airlie Regional Class Dates are scheduled and locked in advance before each Term begins.  All students enrol into once class time frame, generally Sunday 11am – 1pm, but we may have a couple of Saturday Classes in Term 1 & Term 4 (pending studio availability), and your enrolment level will be split into separate groups with different teachers. For 2023 we are currently looking into a mixture of Saturday Afternoon & Sunday Lessons.

As our teachers travel from Mackay to Airlie for these classes, we need to lock our dates, studio, payments etc. all in advance to make sure the Term is all scheduled in before it begins.

All students need to complete a yearly online enrolment form & pay their enrolment fee before starting classes. If you change information throughout the year including address, email, phone number etc. you will need to complete a change of details form.

Ages: 9 years & over, Boys & Girls (Please Note: If your child only turns 9 this year they will most likely begin in our Tiny/Tot Junior Classes before moving up into our Beginners Group. Our Information for our 4-8 year olds can be found here)

What to bring to Class: Notebook, pen, display folder & water bottle. Inclusive in your child’s yearly enrolment fee, all students will receive a Brooke Lee Modelling & Deportment School environmental bag to bring along to your class.

What to wear to Class: Dress, Skirt, Shorts or Tops, an outfit of your own that you feel comfortable in. No thongs, chewing gum and baggy jumpers. Sandals, ballet flats or heels are accepted depending on your age. Boys please wear enclosed shoes. Heels are not compulsory. We only look at heels for girls 12 years & over to start off with if they wish to learn how-to walk-in heels. During your first term, all students must purchase a Brooke Lee Modelling Shirt. Students may wear their Brooke Lee Shirt to classes & events. Students will wear their BLM Shirt to all Classes & Rehearsals during Term 4 and leading up to our Concert.

Payment:  The yearly enrolment fee is charged to all students to enrol at BLM. This is a non-refundable fee that must be paid prior to classes starting to secure your spot. This fee covers enrolment administration, insurances, printing & additional guest speaker fees throughout the year. Airlie Regional Class Term Fees must be paid in full before the second lesson for that term due to travel arrangements. If you require a payment plan please contact us on 0406 974 439 or admin@brookelee.com.au prior to the term starting to set this up. Payment plans are over 3-4 payments and must be paid off before the end of the School Term. For your convenience we offer many payment options – Direct Deposit, Cash or Cheque. We do have eftpos facilities but do have a surcharge for card payments. All invoices include our bank details for payment. If you choose to direct deposit, please use your child’s full name or the invoice number as the reference. Refunds are not available for change of mind or change of circumstances. However, in some cases, you may be able to transfer fees towards another class or workshop. If you attend 3 or more classes in the term, the full term fee & yearly enrolment will be due to pay. If you attend 1 or 2 classes only and stop attending classes, a $65.00 fee per class (single 2 x hours) must be paid plus the yearly enrolment fee.
