Opening Act – 2026 Graduation

You have been selected to perform in our 2026 Opening Act. All students should have received and read the information email sent in February and early March 2026. Below are the confirmed details for the 2026 Opening Act Performance. This page will continue to be updated with any new information, and families will be notified via email when updates are made.

Theme: Denim & Diamonds

Students Involved: Both Model Update Classes

Clothing (Students to Supply)
Students are required to style their outfit within the following guidelines:

• Light blue denim
• White
• Silver
• Add plenty of silver bling and sparkle through your outfit and jewellery
• Shoes: White or silver heels, or heeled boots

Please refer to the inspiration image below when selecting your outfit.

Your outfit must allow you to comfortably walk, turn and complete arm movements during the routine. Please ensure it is not too short, restrictive, or difficult to move in. If you choose a strapless outfit, it must be secure and properly fitted so you feel confident while performing.

Opening Act Props

• Saturday Model Update Class
  LED Fans (supplied by BLM)
  
• Sunday Model Update Class
  Light Blue Denim Jacket (students to supply)
  All Sunday Model Update students must bring their denim jacket to Class # 4 on Sunday 26th April.

Outfit Assistance: If you would like feedback before purchasing your outfit, you are welcome to text photos of your options to Brooke on 0406 974 439.

Extra Opening Act Rehearsals
As outlined in our previous email, additional rehearsals are required for students participating in the Opening Act. The following rehearsal dates are confirmed and locked in, so please add them to your calendars:

– 9th May – Morning Session (9:00am – 11:00am)
– 23rd May – Morning Session (9:00am – 11:00am)
– 31st May – Afternoon Session (12:00pm – 2:00pm)

Full attendance at rehearsals is very important. If you have work commitments, please try to arrange a shift swap, start later, or attend at least one of the Saturday rehearsals or the first hour where possible. If you are unable to commit to the rehearsal schedule, you may prefer to sit out of the Opening Act this year. Please ensure you can commit to the above rehearsals before completing the Opening Act Agreement Form.
