New to our School!

In 2026, our Modelling & Deportment School classes will be held exclusively in Mackay. Classes run once per month, with each class lasting 1.5 hours. We run classes on the weekend once a month, but you will enrol into one class time.

We also offer workshops in various towns and locations throughout the year. If you are interested in attending a workshop, please enquire directly.

For families interested in our classes, please continue reading below for further information about our Mackay Modelling & Deportment Classes.

Class Schedule - Semester 2 (January - June 2026)

How our yearly schedule works:
Moving into 2026, we have moved our “Viewing Performances” from June to December, and our December Graduation to June instead of “End of Year”. This has proven to be the right decision based on everyone’s busy schedules at the end of every year, and we cannot wait for our School’s Graduation on the 13th June 2026. All students will be apart of this performance whether you have just started classes or an ongoing student. Further information, rehearsal details, fees etc will go out about Graduation in March 2026, but you can read a little bit about both below.

Also with these swaps, we have changed our class schedule to “Semester’s” instead of “School Terms”. Our classes run Monthly, so you will have 1 x lesson a month, and from January – June this will be called “SEMESTER 2” and classes in Mackay will be held on the last weekend of each month. Dates below:

Semester 2 Class Dates: 2026 January to June
– Class # 1 –
Saturday 31st January & Sunday 1st February
– Class # 2 –
Saturday 28th February & Sunday 1st March
– Class # 3 –
Saturday 28th March & Sunday 29th March
– Class # 4 –
Saturday 26th April (Mega Weekend – All Students on One Day)
– Class # 5 –
Saturday 30th & Sunday 31st May

Students will be enrolled in one class per month, held on either a Saturday or Sunday. The only exception is Class #4 on the 26th April, where all students will attend on the same day (Saturday). As a result, this class will operate under a revised class timetable to accommodate all groups and will be finalised shortly.

Block Out Your Calendars!
Graduation rehearsals will take place during the week of 9th–13th June, with our Graduation Show scheduled for the afternoon of the 13th June 2026. In 2026, our Graduation will be held at the Mackay Northern Beaches State High School Performing Arts Centre. Further details, including the full rehearsal schedule for the week, tickets, graduation fee for all students, what to wear etc. will be shared by March 2026.

Semester 1 Class Dates: 2026 July to December
– Class Dates TBA

As we move into Semester 1 (July–December), your 2026 enrolment will automatically roll over. There is no need to re-enrol or complete new forms unless your personal details have changed. Please note that classes are invoiced per semester, not per term.

What's covered during Classes & Workshops?

In our Modelling & Deportment classes & workshops, students explore a diverse array of topics, including Building Self-esteem, Confidence, and Motivation, Modelling & Catwalk Training, Correct Posture & Stance, Deportment & Grooming, Photography, Posing & Facial Expressions, Hair Care & Styling, Makeup Techniques & Skin Care, Exercise & Nutrition, Presentation, Etiquette and more.

By enrolling in our classes and workshops, students will progressively explore all topics in our program. Each class is designed to build upon the previous one, ensuring a comprehensive understanding over time. This approach allows for in-depth exploration of each topic, enhancing the overall learning experience.

Some of these topics will be covered during one lesson or one workshop, some will be covered and touched on at all classes and workshops. (Depending on your age and experience)

Our class program runs on a monthly class schedule, so there is no time limit for completing the entire course (All Topics). The class schedule is updated each semester, and guest speakers are booked in advance based on their availability. These professionals specialise in areas such as hair, skincare, makeup, exercise and nutrition, posing, and photography. Within the studio, our lessons incorporate modelling, deportment, confidence-building, and posture training each lesson. The program was originally designed as a complete two-year course, offering an in-depth focus on all topics covered throughout the lessons, terms, and the overall year.

Semester 2 (January–June) focuses on catwalk, deportment, confidence, posture, personal development, and more, as students prepare for our Graduation Concert in June 2026.

Semester 1 (July–December) places greater emphasis on guest speakers and additional school topics, providing students with broader industry insight and learning opportunities. We will still teach and focus on the catwalk, deportment, confidence, posture, personal development throughout classes this semester as we will hold a “Viewing Performance” for friends and family to watch in the studio at the end of the year.
